Our Julefest this year was held on December 13th. The lodge was beautifully decorated for our Christmas holiday. After everyone had gathered, Santa came to visit to hand out gifts to the youngsters present. The lodge provided a beautiful pork roast, lovingly prepared by Bob Johnson. Along with the pork roast, we had lots of other wonderful dishes to share brought by our members. Susanne and Carla made krumkake with filling. And everyone got a bite of kransekake. Along with

October 25, we had an Open House for the public as Kathy Kristiansen Smith told the story of her family’s time living in Norway, their arrest by the Nazis, and their time in internment camps in Austria and Germany, followed by their emigration to Florida after the war.
