Nordic Retreat

Sons of Norway hosted a retreat at Trollhaugen for District 2 members to attend the District 2 Doreen J. Parker Heritage Retreat from September 19-21, 2025. Whidbey Island Nordic Lodge sponsored Kathy Smith and Linnea O'Brien to participate in the 3-day retreat. The event was held in the Cascade Mountains at Trollhaugen and included activities such as loom weaving, woodcarving, rosemaling, spinning, and more. Kathy and Linnea formed new friendships and connections for future events. A big thank you to Bill and Chris Hicks for organizing and facilitating the retreat!
