Whidbey Island Nordic Lodge will be having their annual Lutefisk and Meatball Dinner on January 27, 2024. The lutefisk dinner is a winter tradition in Lutheran churches and Nordic groups all over the USA. It is a traditional meal that comes from the old country and continues to be held by Nordic families who celebrate their Scandinavian heritage.
We get many rave reviews for our lutefisk and hope you come to give it a taste! Many people like to top it with white cream sauce and bacon bits. If it’s not for you, we have
meatballs in a creamy rich gravy that is to die for, along with boiled potatoes. For dessert we have a riskrem with lingonberry topping, served with a side of Danish cookies.
