Rosemaling!

Rosemaling is Scandinavian decorative folk painting that began in the 1700’s.   Martha Olsen, a long-time resident of Whidbey Island, along with two friends, Georgia Loe and Carol Bergquist, will talk about, show, and demonstrate several of the various styles of rosemaling.   Each has a particular stye they prefer.

Members are encouraged to bring any pieces of rosemaling they may have for the “Show and Tell” portion of the program.

A pizza lunch  (Members only, RSVP required) and a special membership meeting will  follow the morning Program.
