About the Event
WINL it is time for another field trip!
On Sept 8 (Monday) we plan on a whole day of Scandinavian delights.
We plan to take the 8:45 ferry from Coupeville. I think for those carpooling, you can leave your car at the ferry. Be there at least by 8:20. For those who want to drive, please make reservations now as the boats fill up quickly. You need to be there by 8:00.
We will drive down to Poulsbo which should take an hour - just in time for FIKA. This should be about 10:30. A stop at Sluys bakery to pick up a treat and hopefully we can find coffee close by or bring a thermos.
Then on to see the Viking ship Valkyrie which was made by Jay Smith in Anacortes. It is now in the Poulsbo Marina.
At 12:00 or so we can head down to Bainbridge to see the troll in Sakai Park…
