Nordic Hall, 63 Jacobs Rd, Coupeville, WA 98239, USA
About the Event
Members of the public are invited to join Lodge members in viewing the film EVER GREEN at 11am February 18th at the Nordic Hall. This film is about community commitment and actions to keep Whidbey Island a special place and the important role of Whidbey Environmental Action Network (WEAN) to help make that happen. The open fields of Greenbank Farm, forest trails of the Saratoga Woods, re-population of native plants at Pacific Rim Institute, and reduction of toxic roadside spraying are just a few of the results of actions by WEAN in collaboration with other island groups. These efforts have made a huge difference in retaining the rural character of the island. The Nordic Hall is located at 63 Jacobs Rd, Coupeville, WA 98239. Free event. Parking available.
A general membership meeting will be held beginning at 10:00am.
