Midsommarfest!

Once again, we are going to have a potluck along with our celebration of Midsummer, with singing, games, music, troll stolling, and socializing.

As last year, the food we all enjoy so much, will be a pot-luck affair!  You are asked to prepare & bring your favorite midsommarfest dish or any picnic item.  How much should you bring?  If two of you are coming, your dish should serve 8-10 persons.

You may bring your own beverages.  Coffee (of course!), lemonade, and ice water will be provided.

To assure ourselves that we have enough variety (and enough food), we ask that you email Barbara Wilson at  <bar1-bot.wil@comcast.net> with what you plan to contribute to the feast and how many are in your group.

Another new twist from last year’s event that was very successful:  We'd like you to consider bringing your own plates, napkins and utensils to reduce waste, and to give our ‘usual kitchen crew’ a break - and a thank you.  If you prefer not to do this, paper plates, etc will be available.

Last but not least, if you have a folk costume, consider wearing it!

Are you ready to celebrate summer with your Nordic friends?  We hope so! We look forward to seeing you on June 17th, and… don’t forget your folding lawn chairs for yourself and family. We’ll be outside for this event just as we were last year.
