About the Event
The Whidbey Island Nordic Lodge will be holding an Open House to the Public on October 18th from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Members will be available to talk about membership and what we have to offer. Our venue is rented out for various events, including meetings, weddings, music events, yoga and dancing. Guests will get to look around our lodge and grounds and see if we can meet their needs in some way.
Kathy Kristiansen Smith will make a presentation on her family’s time in Norway, their arrest by the Nazis, and their time in internment camps in Germany and move to Florida after WWII.
Sausages, hot dogs, sauerkraut, and sides will be served to all!
